So far, we have created 4 citywide editions of the Green Apple Map, as detailed under History. Since 1992, we have disseminated 225,000 free copies and although we have run out of GAMs to send you, you can print your own copy of the year 2000 4th edition here.

After it is downloaded, you can open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Reader (if you need to download this free & handy software, click here). Print out each page (in color or black & white) on standard letter-size or A-4 paper. Trim off the overlap and join the sheets together.

Then: Connect the north and south sides and use as a wall map. Or put the sides back-to-back and fold the maps. Carry it around as you explore New York's amazing environment. You can also leave each map in separate sheets for portability, or refer to it in its digital format. Either way, it is a very useful resource!

You are welcome to make copies of this copyrighted map for your class or group. Though it has not been updated, much of the information is still current. It's a good idea to call the site or check on their website before making a special trip.
