Open the map in either Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher (download the Reader free from adobe.com), or in Apple Preview (for Macs). Use the magnifying glass to zoom in and make it a comfortable size to explore the map and read the narrative onscreen. You can look at the map offline or as a "surf map". We hope you find it a great learning resource!
LoMap has lots of web addresses and each one is hyperlinked! As you read the map, and want to know more, just click, and your web browser will take you right to the site!
Note: You may need to choose preferences and "allow" your computer to make the connection, or turn off Use Local Fonts under the Document menu, but it should work, glitch-free on most platforms.
